The other day, I went out to the post office to take the magazines ordered that day and send them off around the world. We have readers in Australia as well as Italy and France and Norway and Japan. A good few Americans as well. I was wearing the biggest WASP Slingshots T-shirt that exists, Which is black with a massive WASP Slingshots logo on it. As I got out of the car, a lad in a passing van, briefly halted in the traffic, shouted at me asking if I would sell him a catapult.
For one arrogant yet hilarious moment, I thought I was Gamekeeper John being recognised from YouTube. I have been recognised before but this was not one of those times. They simply saw the T-shirt. As the van drove off, The lad asked, “Do you shoot catapults then?”
I answered, “Do I F…..” but he was gone….
