Wasp Launch the all new “Stinger” OTT Catapult Frame

Some time in development, this was made official at the weekend, by WASP Slingshots, with a warm heartfelt post:

THE WASP STINGER: A compact robust Injection Moulded OTT frame

Only 99mm long and 86mm fork width.
Key hole fork gap to allow the fitment of 24mm bands.
Equally at home with light target bands or sporting your favourite hunting bands.
Extremely pocketable!  Brace or Pinch grip.
The frame has a reversed palm swell that your fingers wrap round

A big shout out is sent to WASP Slingshots’ good friend Dan Ambrosius in the USA, who had a major role in the development of the new Stinger frame.

The design origin is from a skateboard deck frame that we sent to Dan. He liked the frame and took to re-sculpting his own take on the ergonomics. After several trips across the pond, the Stinger continued to be re-worked until we were happy. A silicone mould was manufactured from the final design and cast resin prototypes were produced.

The second shout out is to the test pilots who shot that prototype frame and provided feedback.
