I went on a recce to Tillingbourne Trout Farm, (LATEST EDIT! Now magazine stockists!) after first going for the Anglers Mail a couple of times over three years ago as a reporter. It took me that long! However, the location is awesome for a cook out and they are lovely hosts. At time of writing, it costs three pounds to try, and ten pounds per kilo for the fish that you catch.
We took a massive tomahawk steak and the trout was caught upon a hobo line, for the cookout feature of Slingshot World Magazine, I had the low lux button pressed on my JVC pro 4K cam, and then applied the ND filter, so the images are a bit low gear, brakes on, doing 40mph kind of thing and are a bit grainy..aaand I had one audio channel turned down a bit low.. So I shall be going back to do better..and buy some fish!
But what a great place for a shoot!
