Regular readers will recall seeing a full page Lu.MBRo advert in issue one of SlingShot World, yet have never read about any of their frames in the magazines since. But I am nothing if not persistent and have nagged Marco Brunetti into sending his finest for review for issue five. A couple of the latest and most sophisticated of their Italian designs have arrived.
One is the GLADIATOR, some €98 of mirror-finished aeronautical aluminium billet handle and bolt-together top frame, with band clamps and sophisticated sights, that arrives with some bands. These are all about Italian style target shooting and have a massive heritage.

The second is the MAGNUM, that at first look could be forgiven for being thought of as a Chinese design. However, it is an OTT with again, sophisticated sighting systems (all can be fitted on either fork for left-rightyness) and is all Lu.MBRo.
Another slab of metal, this time Titanium, this beautiful item is €108. I gather that the Gladiator is also available in Titanium for €148.

The bands are very different to what we use, so I am going to see what some tame experts think…
Look out for full reviews in Issue Five.
