If you have a resolution or two to make, then 1), resolve to get issue ONE of Slingshot World magazine if you have not already – we still have free gifts to go with each copy for now – A WASP spinner and a SightRight card – www.slingshotworld.co.uk/store , and 2) resolve to go regularly to the fabulous 1066 Target Sports venue in Battle, of a Wednesday evening and join the Ripleys Rippers catapult club!
Held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, it is a great way to meet people, improve your shooting and have a lot of fun. If you are lucky, you may even get fed a bit by Nina, who does tend to take a home baked cake along from time to time!
Lovely people, and backed with fierce resolve by sponsor Mr. Ripley, who is adamant that his team shall always pay total respect to other shooters. Part of what drives his urge to sponsor the team, was how Mick & Nina got heckled on the oche at their first ever shoot – this will NEVER come from his team. BUT, when the Rippers line up to shoot, it will be an approach described as ruthless, he promised.
