GZK SLINGMAIL for ISSUE 6 ARRIVES!

The man Chen Fei, also known to us as GZK, has sent a parcel of technical rubbery goodness to Slingshot world again to try out for issue SIX . Do you recall seeing his videos about weird and creative ways to use tubes?

Known as COCKTAIL tubes, there are two main kinds. One is the Y-cocktail, where you use the same tube but create a differential pull-strength along the tube bandset’s length by partial doubling-up. The other one is when you get a narrower tube slid inside another tube. In the video below, he clearly states that the Y-cocktail tube system is faster than single tube, faster than all-doubled tube and even… faster than flat band! Quite a claim to make and one I want to check in the Tweaky Tech issue SIX! So yes, the Chronograph is coming out. (Such a shame that the maker went out of business.. their F1 lasts too long, so repeat sales never became a thing!)

The very slings used above to show the speed difference between regular and Y shaped ‘cocktails’ in the GZK video have been sent to me! We can examine, prod, poke and CHRONY these! And we are going to… should be interesting.
