Just a little for-the-record post, as we are sure you will have found out by primary routes, but the upcoming West Of England Gamefair, due to have been held across the next weekend, 21st/22nd March, has been cancelled. We were called earlier in the week to check if we were coming and said we wanted to attend but I had already decided not to, when the announcement came that it was off.
Likewise, the England Slingshot Federation Spring shoot, that had folks booked to fly in from all over the world, has been postponed from the following weekend. At least we have a date, of the weekend of the 31st October/1st November, for that.
And of course, I have a magazine to produce before then. So, there will be no feature about the Bristol ESF Spring shoot in issue four but rather, as I know readers wanted to see more of it, an extra hunting feature.
Did you know that each issue has a byeline? Issue One is the COLLECTOR’S 1ST EDITION. Issue Two was THE PHEZZYDENTIAL EDITION, Issue Three was THE CONTROVERSIAL COVER EDITION. And now, issue Four shall be THE SOCIAL DISTANCING EDITION, in which we celebrate the hunter, the lone wolf, the provider with a slingshot… and being out but alone and not near any other people.
