We need a new cover star! Regular readers will be familiar with the previous covers of Slingshot World magazine. I can tell you that leading country pursuits booksellers Coch-Y-Bonddu books, who sell the magazine, recently asked for some more stock of their best seller. It was issue two with Shabba on the front. The last issue has the gorgeous Kara ‘Whizzle’ on the cover and is doing well…
Thus this media mogul (yeah, right…) is desperately seeking a cover star for issue six. It could be you!
You’d need to be available soon, have a warm body to bring with to hold your coat, as it were.. and be able to shoot a catapult. Even if you don’t have one…. I can band one that is easy to pull for photographic purposes if need be!
BE ON THE COVER OF ISSUE SIX!
The skill with the ‘aiminatcha’ shot is to aim the catty not merely in the centre of the lens being pointed at you, but also imagine a place INSIDE the camera, the plane as it were, where you are going to ‘hit’ in your mind’s eye. Sounds a bit abstruse but done right – and it has become a speciality of mine – it can look amazing. Check out Josh Westbrooke on the cover of issue three. The very pupil of his eye lines up over the dip on his TTF frame and it looks like he is going to shoot off the page and take your eye out!
It isn’t crucial if you are not a mad-awesome shot.. as long as you can keep that back elbow down.. it’ll be doable! Please get in touch!
