Those who keep a close eye upon Slingshot World will know that I kept on posting about problems on the online shop system “WP EasyCART”.
EASY CART IS DEAD – WE NOW HAVE THISSSSSS https://slingshot-world.ecwid.com/ And it is a ‘secure’ side to the website “HTTPS” as I know a couple of folks were worried.
The old ‘Store’ randomly broke if you dared change a digit and the young bored person on ‘support’ was painfully bad at describing what the hell to do, expecting you to know their icons by intuition… or smell. He clearly thought me a fool. I paid for it, too.. until next September… I feel absolutely ripped off.
It was offering a single copy within the UK with ADDED £4.90 post and packing!! And the folks at uneasy cart, who you have to wait until evening to talk to, being Americans, seemed to think I was unreasonable to get stressed.
So I shut it. It looked like I had gone mad.. or sad.. and yes, I was livid.
So I posted right here about being able to sell the magazine directly, as I have done and can continue to do. Just to make sure I wasn’t dead in the water… But that post is gone and apologies for the empty no-linky shares on Facebook.
There have been no orders delayed and magazines will be sent just as fast as a before by the same staff. An ugly man with a fat neck. yep still just me!
The truly awesome thing about my scary clever computer scientist fellow is that folks coming to buy mags who knew none of the above, just found a prettier shop and used it!
Oh and it is BRITISH.
