Slingshot World is honoured once again to be trusted with breaking news! The chaps at WASP Slingshots and the England Slingshot Federation have had a meeting about the future target systems the ESF want to use.
As we know, mounting a WASP spinner is easy and they are so very hard to destroy, that killing an affordable 40mm spinner is seen as a badge of power, skill and massively repeated accuracy, all in one. At first, Mr. Wasp was upset. But he soon realised they were showing off, rather than complaining, with their broken-spinner posts!
The targets for the England Slingshot Federation format have been decided and will be WASP spinners in the sizes already made, as well as NEW 60mm and new 80mm sizes. These shall be having their moulds created soon and shall be available in time for the ESF Inaugural shoot, in April 2019, in Gloucestershire.
Slingshot World was the first to learn about these and can tell you that there is no point in exploiting the WASP Facebook presence, asking and nagging about availability or price, as they will NOT BE RELEASED BEFORE THE SHOOT.
If plans change and they are on sale in advance, you will read it here.
So please don’t nag the man, they are just blueprints in his head right now, this news is FRESH.
