It has been an utterly bonkers few days but SLINGSHOT WORLD #7 is RELEASED! After a long slice of work, it has been done and has been collected in the works truck at the printers. They were ferried home, and just a few cases brought indoors to process the heap of pre-orders.
Never before have we managed to get them back out the same day the print run is got hold of, but we did and furthermore, even though it was ‘second class’ post, a slew of them got to destination the very next day! Like my bloke on the postie walk told me, sometimes, they run out of work and the machines are still running, so through it goes.
Some were in Yorkshire the very next morning and the wails from those who folks who were not so rapid-fortunate, were of course a delight to me!
Sat having a rest between packing magazines, I finally sat and did the ‘imagine you were a reader’ look-see. And yes, said it myself but this is a killer issue! I got emotional.
New kit, cool new toys and a pull on your heartstrings.
